Mr. J. Austin served as the Executive Officer for panchayats in Tamilnadu Government service and after his retirement involved in various social activities and Church of South India. He is a strict disciplinarian and with humble attitude and get along with people positively. He enabled all his children to complete post graduate degree and grow up with moral aptitude and Christian values. Dr.J.A. Jayalal is his last son and amidst struggle and burden he empowered him to become a Surgeon in 1993. As soon as he had completed his MS from Stanly Medical College, Chennai with distinction, he promoted and paved way for the beginning of Annammal Hospital as small clinic and walked with him to build up the new hospital in 1996. On 2000 August 27th, he succumbed to sudden cardiac arrest leaving behind his legacy, loving smile and entrepreneurship.

Mrs. Annammal served as a Nurse in the Primary Health Centre under Tamilnadu Government and with much dedication and compassion conducted thousands of home deliveries in Pacode village and earned a very good name and appreciation from people. She is a strict disciplinarian with dedicated spiritual person involving actively in church activities as Sunday School teacher and led the children in the Christian principle and values. Her love, affection and strict life rituals empowered her children to inculcate their virtues in their life. Dr. J. A. Jayalal is her last son and it is her vision and passion made him to choose Medical Education as his ambition field. It is only her wisdom and prayers empowered Dr. J.A. Jayalal to complete his studies MBBS in Tirunelveli Medical College and M.S ( Gen. Surgery) from Stanly Medical College Chennai. As soon as he completed his course, she took all steps to start a clinic in Kuzhithurai on May 2nd 1993 and it was named after her. Her prayers and support enabled the institution to grow and become a Multispeciality Hospital in 1996 and start Annammal College and School of Nursing in 2007. She was a role model and bid adieu on 23rd May 2004.
